As Congressman, Gabe also founded the bipartisan Public Land Caucus and led the successful fight to stop the MAGA extremists in Congress from selling off million of acres of public lands across the country; he’s cracked down on out-of-state landlords buying up homes and jacking up rents; he fought back against the disastrous Medicaid cuts; he delivered over $3 million to public safety agencies across the district; and he’s stood up to leaders of both parties to deliver for New Mexicans.
